KRX National Happiness Foundation Holds 12th Happy Nuri Launch Ceremony
The KRX National Happiness Foundation held the launch ceremony of the KRX University Student Financial Education Volunteer Group on September 2nd at Arpina in Busan.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] KRX National Happiness Foundation announced on the 2nd that it held the ‘12th KRX University Student Financial Education Volunteer Group Happy Nuri Launch Ceremony’ for 90 university students selected as the KRX Happy Nuri Volunteer Group at Arpina in Busan.
Since 2011, the Exchange has been operating the ‘KRX University Student Financial Education Volunteer Group Happy Nuri’ to support the growth of low-income children as responsible financial consumers through financial and character education and to help healthy emotional development. Over the past 11 years, a total of 1,159 volunteers have provided financial and character education to 17,447 children and adolescents nationwide.
The newly selected university student volunteers will be organized in pairs and conduct 10 sessions of financial and character education each at 45 local children’s centers from September to November.

Chairman Byungdoo Son said, “The KRX University Student Volunteer Group Happy Nuri is a meaningful activity that practices knowledge sharing with children at local children’s centers,” and added, “Through this educational volunteer work, university student volunteers will experience the value of sharing with the local community, and children at local children’s centers are expected to build a foundation for correctly understanding finance through learning.”
