On the 22nd, POSCO installed 'Poseokho' character sculptures at Pohang Park 1538 History Museum, Waterfront Park, and PR Center.
The three Poseokho sculptures installed at Park 1538 will each wear employee uniforms from the past, present, and future, welcoming visitors throughout Park 1538.
Poseokho was first introduced in October last year as a gender- and age-neutral new employee of POSCO's New Media Group, created with the concept that "a POSCO researcher gave life to a bear doll by inserting a hydrogen fuel cell."
Since the character's introduction, POSCO's Instagram subscribers have increased by 73%, and content engagement (likes, saves, shares, comments) has increased eightfold.
The 'Green Tomorrow' YouTube campaign, launched in January this year, has recorded over 14 million views and more than 2,400 comments to date.
Recently, the character's active use was recognized by winning the top prize in the social media category at the '2022 Golden World Awards' presented by the International Public Relations Association.
