Yongin City Introduces Integrated Civil Complaint Counter System
[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province introduced the 'Integrated Civil Service Desk Buddy System' on the 1st to improve the quality of civil service.
Yongin City announced that it introduced the 'Integrated Civil Service Desk Buddy System,' in which employees with more than six months of experience among existing staff are matched with new employees who have received personnel appointments to help them become familiar with and proficient in their tasks.
The city plans to conduct surveys targeting new employees to enhance the effectiveness of the buddy system and to address any shortcomings.

A city official stated, "Each eup, myeon, and dong administrative welfare center handles the issuance of about 300 types of certificates, but since administrative services cover various fields, new employees unfamiliar with the tasks sometimes cannot meet the demands of civil petitioners who want quick service. We expect that the introduction of this buddy system will provide higher quality services to civil petitioners."
