According to the Korea Film Council's integrated box office data as of the afternoon of the 31st, 'Top Gun: Maverick' recorded a cumulative audience of 8,000,238. This is the highest-grossing foreign film since 'Frozen 2,' which was released in November 2019.
The film, released in June, earned $691.67 million in North America, surpassing 'Avengers: Infinity War' (2018) and ranking 6th in all-time North American box office earnings. Globally, it has earned $1.42287 billion, ranking 12th in all-time box office revenue.
