Position Adjustment in Gyeonggi Province Spokesperson Office... Press Officer 'Open Position' vs. Public Relations Officer 'General Position'
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province is converting the position of the Public Relations Officer, who is the head of the spokesperson office, from a general administrative position (Grade 4 Secretary) to an open position. On the other hand, the Press Planning Officer will be adjusted from an open position to a general administrative position.
Gyeonggi Province recently announced the 'Partial Amendment to the Enforcement Rules of the Ordinance on the Administrative Organization and Staff of Gyeonggi Province,' which includes these changes, for legislative notice. This amendment will take effect immediately upon promulgation.
A provincial official explained on the 31st, "The position adjustments were made to promote efficient personnel management, including adjustments to open positions in response to changes in the provincial administrative environment," adding, "There is no change in the total number of staff in Gyeonggi Province."
