Hansol Paper, Awarded 'EcoVadis Gold Rating' for 3 Consecutive Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Hansol Paper announced on the 31st that it has received the Gold rating in the '2022 Sustainability Assessment' conducted by the global research organization EcoVadis.
EcoVadis is an international organization that evaluates environmental and social impacts among more than 90,000 companies across over 160 countries worldwide. It assesses a total of four categories: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, and grants certifications according to the rating levels.
Hansol Paper achieved the Gold rating for the third consecutive year, which is awarded only to companies within the top 5%, proving its global ESG competitiveness. In particular, it recorded excellent scores in the environmental category and received significantly improved scores in the sustainable procurement category compared to the previous year, placing it in the top 3% among evaluated companies.
