The agreement was promoted to address social issues such as low birth rates caused by rising housing prices and to achieve housing stability through cooperation between the public and private sectors.
Busan Bank will provide newlyweds moving into public rental housing such as Happy Housing’s ‘Newlywed Lucky7 House’ with jeonse loan funds up to 2 billion KRW within 90% of the lease deposit, offering the loan interest-free.
Korea Housing Finance Corporation plans to provide full credit guarantees for housing lease deposit loans and apply a guarantee fee rate of 0.02% to reduce financial burdens.
Busan City, in consultation with Busan Urban Corporation and Korea Land and Housing Corporation, has secured 130 units of ‘Newlywed Lucky7 House’ and plans to recruit tenants starting in September.
