According to the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters on the 30th, this visit involved checking the maintenance status of fire-fighting and evacuation/fire prevention facilities within the airport, and visiting the apron and fire control room to identify any potential disaster risk factors that could occur at the airport.
He also urged officials to establish a thorough fire safety management system and a rapid response system through regular training of the airport’s own fire brigade.
Head Kim stated, “During the Chuseok holiday period, we will work closely with the airport’s own fire brigade to respond quickly in case of emergencies such as fires, ensuring the safety of airport users.”
