View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Cellist Kim Doyeon will hold a homecoming recital on September 4th at the Recital Hall of the Seoul Arts Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
In the performance, Kim Doyeon will present songs by Hugo Wolf, starting with his Lieder, followed by works by Schubert, Kevin Puts, and Chopin.
She will first showcase Wolf's piece, which adds musical dimensionality to M?rike's poem praying for peace. Through Schubert's Arpeggione Sonata, which begins in a minor key but ends in a major key, and Chopin's Cello Sonata, she conveys messages of hope and encouragement.
Additionally, through 'Air for Cello and Piano' by Pulitzer Prize-winning contemporary composer Kevin Puts, she plans to offer warm consolation with lyrical cello and piano melodies.
