He continued, "I congratulated him, and (Lee told President Yoon) that after visiting Pyeongsan yesterday, he was very thankful for the help, and that Pyeongsan was quiet," adding, "There were various discussions such as making good livelihood bills to help the country and the people, and asking for support. Let's do that."
However, Lee said there was no direct mention of a summit meeting. Regarding specific schedules, he said, "We will coordinate while looking at various schedules in the future."
Park Sung-jun, spokesperson for the Democratic Party, explained the process of the call, saying, "Lee Jin-bok and Lee met and had a good atmosphere while talking, and then Lee Jin-bok said that President Yoon wanted to talk with Lee, and Lee readily agreed, so they had the call."

Before the private meeting, Lee Jin-bok said, "In these difficult times, Lee Jae-myung has become the party leader, so I came to greet him on behalf of the President," adding, "You must have worked very hard, so I came to congratulate you."
Lee then said, "I hope the ruling party, which has been chosen by the people, and the Yoon Seok-yeol government, and President Yoon succeed," adding, "Success is not an alliance of a specific camp or individual, but a better life for the people and a better future for the Republic of Korea."
