The ‘Yongdap Service Center,’ the first Mercedes-Benz service center in Korea opened in 1988, underwent its first expansion in 2020 by increasing the number of work bays to 43 through reconstruction, and then completed a total of 80 work bays through an additional expansion, renaming it the Seongdong Service Center.
The Seongdong Service Center consists of 8 floors above ground and 3 basement levels, with a total floor area of 38,000㎡ (approximately 11,495 pyeong) and a total of 80 work bays, making it the largest among imported car brands in Korea as well as for Mercedes-Benz.
The Seongdong Service Center plans to provide differentiated premium services by having dedicated technicians with extensive expertise and related facilities exclusively for the top flagship sedan ‘Maybach’ and the high-performance luxury brand ‘AMG’ work bays.
Additionally, in preparation for the recently increasing demand for electric vehicle services, the center is equipped with specialized technicians for pure electric vehicles ‘EQ’ as well as equipment and safety facilities necessary for high-voltage and battery replacement, providing electric vehicle specialized services.
