Boryeong Announces Call for Entries for the 18th Boryeong Medical Essay Literary Award... Submissions Accepted Until September 30
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] Boryung (formerly Boryung Pharmaceutical) announced on the 30th that it is accepting submissions for the '18th Boryung Doctor Essay Literary Award' until September 30.
Any doctor in South Korea can participate, and submissions are accepted for essay works written on any topic, approximately 15 pages of 200-character manuscript paper (about 2 and a half A4 pages) in length.
The winning works will be announced in November after preliminary and final judging by the Korea Essay Literature Promotion Association. Winners will be selected for Grand Prize (1 person), Gold Prize (1 person), Silver Prize (2 persons), and Bronze Prize (5 persons).
The Grand Prize winner will receive a pure gold 25-don medal and will also be granted the privilege of debuting as a writer through the essay-specialized magazine 'Essay Literature.' The Grand Prize-winning work will also be produced as a 'sign language audiobook' that can be enjoyed by both disabled and non-disabled people.

The Boryung Doctor Essay Literary Award was established by Boryung in 2005 to widely promote the preciousness of life and the meaning of love through essays written directly by doctors.
