Gyeonggi-do to Host 'FOR REST Film Festival' at Gapyeong Yeoninsan Village
Free Admission on Sept 2-3... First-Come, First-Served Reservations
Enjoy Attractions and Food with Roulette Event
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced on the 29th that they will hold a free film screening event called the 'FOR REST Film Festival' for two days on September 2nd and 3rd in Yeoninsan Village, Gapyeong-gun.
Yeoninsan Village is a rural experience village that preserves Myeongjisan Mountain and Baekduncheon Stream, and is one of the nine ecological tourism hubs in Gyeonggi Province.
This film festival is a sensory marketing event using 'hearing' to promote the village, aimed at raising awareness of the nine ecological tourism hubs.
As the festival takes place in the forest, the film "Little Forest," themed around comfortable rest in nature, will be screened for two days starting at 7 p.m.
Before the festival begins, a 'Lucky Roulette' event will be held where participants can win the village's specialty apples as prizes.
During the screening, beanbags will be provided on the grass so visitors can enjoy the scenery of Myeongjisan Mountain surrounding the village.
Tickets can be reserved for free, up to four per person, by searching for 'Yeoninsan Village Film Festival' or through the Gyeonggi Tourism Instagram account.
The province and the organization plan to carry out monthly sensory marketing events featuring ecological tourism hubs such as Gapyeong's 'Achimgoyo Pureun Village,' Goyang's 'Janghang Wetland,' Icheon’s 'Sansuyu Village,' and Hwaseong's 'Ueumdo.'
