Song Gyeong-ju Appointed as New Planning and Coordination Director of Busan City, Senior Official from Ministry of the Interior and Safety
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Song Kyung-joo, head of the Next-Generation Local Finance Revenue Informatization Promotion Team at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, has been appointed as the new Planning and Coordination Office Chief of Busan City.
Song Kyung-joo, the new Planning and Coordination Office Chief, graduated from the Department of Sociology at Korea University, entered public service through the 41st Administrative Examination, and is originally from Busan, having attended Busan Hyehwa Girls' High School.
Song has served as Director of Local Tax Revenue Division, Director of Local Tax Administration Division, Director of Grant Tax Division at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and as a standing commissioner at the Tax Tribunal.
She is recognized for her capabilities, having been the first female Director of the Grant Tax Division at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the first female standing commissioner at the Tax Tribunal. She has also been appointed as the first female Planning and Coordination Office Chief in Busan City.
