[Asia Economy Reporter Seo So-jeong] The Bank of Korea and the Financial Supervisory Service announced on the 28th that they will conduct the 'National Financial Literacy Survey' from the 29th to November 30th.
This survey aims to measure the financial literacy level of Korean adults (aged 18 to 79) based on the standards set by the International Network on Financial Education (INFE), a global cooperative organization under the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The results will be used to establish directions for economic and financial education and serve as basic data for comparisons among OECD countries.
Professional investigators will conduct one-on-one interviews by visiting 2,400 households nationwide selected through a sample survey.
