LX Semicon Obtains International Certification for Safety and Health Management System

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] LX Semicon announced on the 25th that it has obtained the ISO 45001 certification, an occupational health and safety management system standard from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
ISO 45001 is an international certification in the field of occupational health and safety established by ISO in 2018. It is awarded to companies that have established management systems to minimize industrial accidents that may occur in the workplace. As the highest level certification in occupational health and safety, it evaluates the identification of safety and health risks and the establishment of systems to prevent safety and health accidents.
LX Semicon acquired this certification as a result of activities supporting the safety and health management of its employees. In particular, it received high evaluations for establishing a company-wide occupational health and safety system and conducting workplace risk assessments. Efforts such as strengthening safety and health education, complying with the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, and worker consultation and participation were also recognized.

With this certification, LX Semicon plans to accelerate its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management to fulfill corporate social responsibility.
