On the afternoon of the 24th, BNK Busan Bank held a ‘Dongbaek Mankai’ sharing project delivery ceremony at Busan City Hall to celebrate Chuseok.
At the event, traditional market Onnuri gift certificates worth 500 million KRW were provided to underprivileged citizens.
The ‘Dongbaek Mankai’ sharing project is a corporate social responsibility initiative carried out by Busan Bank to share warm hearts with the underprivileged and contribute to the revitalization of traditional markets.
Busan Bank decided to deliver traditional market Onnuri gift certificates worth 50,000 KRW per household to about 10,000 underprivileged households, including 8,800 households in the Busan area and 1,200 households in the Gimhae and Yangsan areas, through the Busan Community Chest of Korea.
Park Myung-chul, head of the Management Strategy Group at Busan Bank, said, “We hope that this sharing project will deliver warm love to neighbors in need and revitalize traditional markets through the use of Onnuri gift certificates.”
Park also said, “As a financial institution representing the region, we will continue to carry out social contribution activities that support small business owners and neighbors in need.”

Since 2008, Busan Bank has continued sharing for the local community by delivering traditional market Onnuri gift certificates and daily necessities gift packages during holidays and year-end. The cumulative amount donated to date reaches about 12.8 billion KRW.
