NCSoft Partners with Korea George Mason University for Industry-Academic Cooperation
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] NCSoft announced on the 23rd that it has signed an industry-academia cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korea George Mason University.
Through this MOU, NCSoft and Korea George Mason University will promote ▲ research on game policy and digital therapeutics-related policy development ▲ support for social impact competitions ▲ hosting symposiums. NCSoft plans to hold the first symposium together with Korea George Mason University and its main campus in the United States this November.
Since 2021, NCSoft has also supported Korea George Mason University's 'Digital Art Competition' to raise awareness about games.

Ahn Yonggyun, Head of NCSoft Communication Center, said, "We are pleased to establish industry-academia cooperation with Korea George Mason University, which teaches both the core computer technology aspects and the artistic elements of game design in the game industry," adding, "Through this MOU, we will cooperate to highlight the positive aspects of games."
