Gyeonggi Province Explores Direction for 'Gyeonggi Northern Peace Tourism Policy'
Held at the Peace Talk Hall, Gyeonggi Provincial Government Northern Office, at 2 PM on the 25th
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province will hold a policy discussion forum on "Gyeonggi Northern Peace Tourism Promotion Strategy" at 2 p.m. on the 25th at the Peace Talk Hall in the Northern Government Complex of Gyeonggi Province.
This forum was organized to explore the direction of peace tourism policies in northern Gyeonggi Province, considering the regional characteristics of Gyeonggi Province, which includes the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and the Northern Limit Line (NLL) at sea, with experts from various fields.
The forum will proceed with presentations on the themes of "Practical Experience Cases of DMZ Tourism," "Northern Gyeonggi Peace Tourism Based on Peace Tourism Theory," and "Tourism that Cultivates Individual Lives Also Contributes to Regional Peace," followed by a comprehensive discussion.
Professor Yoon Ji-hwan of Kyung Hee University will serve as the chair of the forum. Presenters and discussants include former provincial assembly member Kim Kang-sik, provincial assembly member Choi Byung-seon, Professor Kim Jae-ho of Inha Technical College, Lee Dong-yeol, Head of Business Division at Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, Research Fellow Jung Dae-young of Gyeonggi Research Institute, and Professor Choi In-mook of Gwangju Women's University.
