View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] LS Cable announced on the 23rd that it has launched the cable remote management system iCheck and is starting full-scale commercialization targeting large-scale commercial facilities, industrial complexes, and buildings.
iCheck uses IoT (Internet of Things) sensors attached to cables to detect abnormal conditions such as overheating and leakage, helping to prevent power outages and fires caused by cable faults. Managers can check the cable status in real time via web and mobile, and receive alerts if any abnormalities occur.
Additionally, a method to digitize and manage cable information has been developed. By scanning a special QR code with a dedicated reader or mobile device, users can easily identify the cable's manufacturing and maintenance history, remaining lifespan, and more.
