Gwangju City Council Forms Special Committee for Personnel Hearing of Gwangju Women and Family Foundation CEO
Appointment of Chairman Jo Seok-ho and Vice Chairman Park Su-gi
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Metropolitan Council announced on the 22nd that it has formed a special personnel hearing committee (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Personnel Committee’) for the CEO of the Gwangju Women and Family Foundation and appointed Jo Seok-ho as chairman and Park Su-gi as vice chairman.
The Personnel Committee consists of a total of seven members: Park Su-gi, Seo Yong-gyu, Shim Chang-wook, Lee Myung-no, Lim Mi-ran, Jo Seok-ho, and Choi Ji-hyun.
Once the candidate recruitment process is completed, a personnel hearing will be conducted to comprehensively verify the candidate’s morality, expertise, and policy execution capabilities.

Chairman Jo Seok-ho stated, “The Women and Family Foundation aims to realize a gender-equal Gwangju community and is leading the creation of a gender-equality platform that resonates with the region through various projects such as research on women and family policies, building local women’s networks, gender equality education, and operating a complex cultural space for women.” He added, “I will do my best with the Personnel Committee members to verify the candidate’s qualifications so that a CEO who can lead region-tailored policy development and innovative management can be appointed.”
