Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam has launched the '2022 Eulji Exercise' to establish national crisis management training and national emergency preparedness.

The Eulji Exercise is an emergency preparedness training conducted to actively respond to wartime, incidents, or equivalent national emergencies. This exercise will involve 764 participants from 19 organizations and companies, and will be conducted realistically to ensure practical regional crisis management and all-out war exercises aligned with the security environment.
Starting with the emergency assembly of public officials on the first day, the 22nd, the following will be conducted: ▲ wartime organizational formation training ▲ wartime establishment organization training ▲ administrative agency dispersal training ▲ actual counter-terrorism training ▲ civil defense evacuation training.
In particular, the actual Eulji Exercise training on the 23rd at 3 PM will involve the 39th Division Changwon Battalion, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Support Unit, Military Police Unit, Gyeongnam Police Agency Special Forces, and Seongsan Fire Station. At the Changwon Football Center, a comprehensive response drill will be conducted assuming a drone and explosive terrorism situation, including initial response, hostage rescue, and fire suppression.
