According to Samsung Electronics on the 21st, the newly released 98-inch model (QNB100) features 4K resolution with significantly improved picture quality and sound compared to the previous 98-inch model. It is a super-premium product with various sophisticated differentiators, including a thinner screen and both the bezel and back panel made of metal materials.
The QNB100 utilizes ‘Neo Quantum Matrix’ technology to finely adjust brightness in 16,384 steps (14-bit) to deliver clear images, and applies ‘Quantum HDR 5000’ to effectively express HDR images at a maximum brightness of 5,000 nits. By optimizing picture quality based on AI according to video characteristics, it offers vivid and immersive visuals suitable for large screens.
The QNB100 also significantly enhances sound. It is equipped with four woofers supporting 120W 6.4.4 channel ‘Cinema Moving Sound (OTS),’ providing consumers with an optimal sound experience as if watching a movie in a theater. Additionally, it enhances immersion through ‘Dolby Atmos’ and applies ‘Q Symphony,’ which maximizes realism by using both the soundbar and TV speakers.
The exterior design reflects the luxury befitting a 98-inch size. It features a ‘full metal’ design using metal materials for both the screen bezel and back panel, and has a slim design with a thickness of 19.9mm, reduced by more than 35% compared to the previous 98-inch model.
The retail price of the newly released 98-inch QNB100 is 45 million KRW.
