HiteJinro Joins Promotion of the 7th International Marine Debris Conference
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] HiteJinro announced on the 18th that it will participate in promoting the '7th International Marine Debris Conference,' hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and organized by the Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation.
HiteJinro first established a relationship with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries by joining the Companion Beach Project, implemented by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, and the Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation, since September 2020. This connection led to its participation in the current campaign.
HiteJinro is conducting a campaign by including phrases related to the conference on the supplementary labels of Chamisul in the Busan area. To raise awareness about marine environmental protection and increase participation in the conference, the supplementary labels have been applied starting from products produced on the 11th. The conference will be held from the 19th to the 23rd of next month at BEXCO in Busan.
