20s Arrested on the Spot for Wielding a Weapon at Boyfriend After Breakup Notice
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A woman in her 20s who became enraged after being told to break up and wielded a weapon against her partner was arrested by the police.
The Gwanak Police Station in Seoul announced on the 18th that they have booked a woman in her 20s, Ms. A, on charges of special assault and are currently investigating.
Ms. A is accused of injuring a man in his 30s, Mr. B, with a weapon at her home in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, around 7 a.m. on the 9th, after drinking together and receiving a breakup notice. They had been dating for about four months.
The police, who responded to Mr. B's report, arrested Ms. A at the scene, and Mr. B was reportedly transported to the emergency room.
