Lutronic, the First Aesthetic Medical Device Specialist Company to Join the Korea Federation of Mid-sized Enterprises
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] Lutronic announced on the 18th that it has joined the Korea Federation of Medium-sized Enterprises as the first aesthetic medical device company to do so.
Founded in 1997, Lutronic was promoted to a medium-sized enterprise in April this year. A company is designated as a medium-sized enterprise if its average sales over three years exceed 80 billion KRW. Lutronic recorded its highest-ever performance last year with consolidated sales of 173.6 billion KRW and operating profit of 29.8 billion KRW. It has shown continuous growth with sales of 115.3 billion KRW in 2019 and 115.6 billion KRW in 2020. Notably, 83% of the previous year's sales were generated overseas.
The medical devices sold by Lutronic are used in over 80 countries worldwide through hospitals and clinics for various aesthetic treatment areas such as anti-aging, pigment lesion treatment, tattoo removal, wrinkle and scar treatment, hair removal, skin regeneration, vascular lesion treatment, and body contouring.
