KIC Appoints Lee Hoon, Former Head of Future Strategy Headquarters, as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Investment Management Division
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] Korea Investment Corporation announced on the 17th that it has appointed Lee Hun as the new Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Jung Ho-seok as the new Chief Risk Officer (CRO) after deliberation by the Operations Committee.
New CIO Lee Hun previously worked as an analyst at Korea Investment & Securities, Woori Investment & Securities, and Samsung Securities. Since joining KIC in 2014, he has served as Head of Corporate Analysis, Head of Strategic Research Team, Head of Asset Allocation Team, Head of Investment Strategy Division, and Head of Future Strategy Division.
New CRO Jung Ho-seok worked at the Bank of Korea for 32 years, holding positions such as Head of Foreign Exchange Market Team, Head of International General Team, Head of Outsourced Management Team in the Foreign Capital Planning Department, Director of the Foreign Capital Planning Department, Head of Mokpo Headquarters, and Director of Planning Cooperation Bureau.
