[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] Ottogi announced on the 16th that its consolidated operating profit for the first half of this year was tentatively estimated at 106.726 billion KRW, a 23.5% increase compared to the same period last year.
Sales amounted to 1.5317 trillion KRW, up 14.3%, and net profit increased by 30.4% to 86.12 billion KRW.

Ottogi explained, "Sales of key products such as oils and convenience foods increased," adding, "The proportion of selling and administrative expenses remained similar to last year, and as a result of efforts to reduce costs, we were able to achieve strong performance."
