Led by the residents' representative organization, the Residents' Autonomy Committee, it embodies the value of direct democracy that realizes living autonomy directly connected to residents' lives.
The assembly was held to select the priority of village agenda projects to be promoted in Sangmu 2-dong next year.
Before the assembly, from the 1st to the 24th of last month, the Residents' Autonomy Committee collected village agenda proposals from residents, discovered eight agendas, and conducted online voting and visiting offline voting from the 1st to the 10th.
On the day of the assembly, on-site voting was conducted, and based on the combined results, the priority of the eight agendas was selected. The first priority was the agenda of creating a beautiful Sangmu 2-dong village, which received 1,791 votes.
Projects such as repairing old walls, installing solar markers to create safe alleyways, and small art galleries in public places will be promoted.
The second priority, with 1,722 votes, was holding a residents' public hearing for the integration of Sangmu Middle School and Chipyeong Middle School, and the third priority was improving the environment of bus stops around schools, which received 871 votes from the school general assembly.
The decided agenda priorities will be reflected in the promotion of Sangmu 2-dong village agenda projects next year.
