Incheon TP Opens Citizen Experience Education on Digital Literacy Using 3D Printing
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP) announced on the 16th that it will conduct the '3D Printing Utilization Digital Literacy Citizen Experience Education' until November.
This education program is one of the 'Top 10 Economic Industry Sector Public Projects for Incheon Citizen Participatory Budget' selected through an online citizen vote last year.
The education, designed with both theoretical and practical courses to enable participants to operate 3D printer devices and obtain necessary information, consists of three courses: ▲Digital Informatization ▲3D Modeling ▲Living Lab 3D Printing Practice.
It is operated as a family experience weekend class at the 2nd floor education center of the Getbol Tower in Songdo International City.
Any Incheon citizen can apply for the course through the Incheon Makerspace website or by scanning the QR code. Approximately 150 participants will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis.

An Incheon TP official stated, "There are experience programs where citizens can directly realize their creative ideas," adding, "We expect it to also play a role in bridging the digital divide among Incheon citizens."
