GC Green Cross, 'GC Areumdawoon Donghaeng' Campaign... Support for Mobility-Impaired Patients
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] GC Green Cross recently announced on the 12th that it conducted a donation-based social contribution campaign called ‘GC Beautiful Companion’ together with employees from all its affiliates.
This campaign was held for 9 days starting from the 27th of last month, targeting 400 participants recruited on a first-come, first-served basis. The number of steps measured through a smartphone application (app) was converted into a donation amount of 1 won per step, allowing each participant to donate up to 60,000 steps (60,000 won).
During the campaign, a total of 23,421,335 cumulative steps were recorded, resulting in approximately 20 million won in donations. The donations will be used to improve the treatment environment for patients with mobility difficulties.

A GC Green Cross official stated, “We clearly designated the donation target as ‘patients with mobility difficulties’ to enhance employees’ sense of purpose, and we will continue to actively carry out ‘Funeration (Fun+Donation)’ activities that promote sharing in daily life.”
