View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Yeongam County announced on the 10th that it will conduct the '2022 Community Health Survey' targeting 900 adults aged 19 and over in cooperation with the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency and Chonnam National University.
This survey will be conducted from the 16th of this month to October 31st, and the survey items consist of a total of 19 areas and 138 questions, including ▲basic household survey ▲health behaviors ▲vaccinations ▲medical use ▲accidents and poisoning ▲activity limitations and quality of life ▲use of health institutions ▲social physical environment ▲educational and physical environment ▲COVID-19 related items.
The survey method involves four trained surveyors visiting selected sample households in their assigned areas, conducting one-on-one interviews with survey participants using electronic questionnaires installed on tablet computers.
The survey content will be used as statistical data on the health level of local residents and serve as basic data for establishing local health and medical plans and health policies.

A Yeongam Public Health Center official stated, “During the survey period, we will regularly check the health status of surveyors through COVID-19 tests and ensure thorough infectious disease prevention management such as hand sanitization and mask-wearing to conduct the survey safely,” and added, “We ask for active cooperation when surveyors visit.”
