Thief Caught After Taking Photos of Items to Steal and Posting on Secondhand Site

The Gwangju Bukbu Police Station announced on the 10th that they have booked A (26) on charges of nighttime trespassing and theft and have applied for an arrest warrant.
A is accused of breaking into a church in Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City nine times from July until recently and stealing home appliances such as air purifiers and audio equipment worth about 6.7 million won.
A took photos of appliances worth stealing and posted the pictures on an online secondhand trading site, then committed theft when a buyer appeared.
The police warned the church that the suspect would come to steal items again, and eventually caught A around noon on the 9th.
At the time, A was caught in the act carrying a speaker worth about 3 million won on his shoulder as he left the church.
