The signing ceremony took place at 2 p.m. on the 8th at the Korean Education Center in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, attended by key figures from both sides, including Silla University Vice President Kim Byung-gi, Director of International Exchange Kim Hyung-geun, and Urgench State University Department Head Jamila Ermetova.
The event was organized by the Korean Education Center in Tashkent to enhance the quality of Korean language education through expanded exchanges between Korea and Uzbekistan and to establish a future strategic relationship through sisterhood ties in the field of education.
Through this agreement, the two universities agreed to carry out ▲ exchanges related to Korean language education ▲ cooperation for the promotion of Korean culture ▲ operation of various international exchange programs ▲ exchange of professional research personnel and academic research.
Vice President Kim Byung-gi of Silla University said, “Uzbekistan, a central Asian country, shows great interest in Korean language education and Korean culture. With a birth rate of 2.79 and a high enthusiasm for education, a bright future is expected,” adding, “We will strive to promote Silla University’s excellent foreign student programs and various benefits and to strengthen the expertise in Korean language education through continuous exchange and cooperation.”
