Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held the opening ceremony of the new Shinwol Civil Service Center building.

About 100 people attended the opening ceremony, including Hong Nam-pyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, Kang Ki-yoon, National Assembly member, local city council members, and residents. The event proceeded in the order of a congratulatory performance by the Changwon City Philharmonic Orchestra, progress report, commemorative and congratulatory speeches, building tour, and tape cutting.
The new building was constructed starting in July 2021 on the site of the existing civil service center, with a total floor area of 919㎡ and four floors above ground. It was completed in May and began civil service center operations on June 13. The first floor houses the civil service office and residents' resting area, the second floor is the lifelong learning center, the third floor contains the residents' autonomy center and conference rooms, and the fourth floor is used as the machine room.
With the construction of this new building, the long-standing wish of Shinwol-dong residents, who had experienced inconvenience due to the aging civil service center building, has been resolved, and residents are expected to receive administrative services in a comfortable environment.
