SPC Group Delivers Emergency Relief Supplies to Areas Affected by Heavy Rainfall
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] SPC Group announced on the 9th that it will deliver emergency relief supplies to the Seoul, Incheon, and other metropolitan areas affected by heavy rainfalls starting from the 8th.
The SPC Happy Foundation decided to deliver a total of 6,000 items, consisting of 3,000 SPC Samlip breads and 3,000 bottles of water, to the affected sites through the Korean Red Cross. The relief supplies will be used to support evacuees staying in temporary shelters such as schools and gymnasiums due to the sudden heavy rain, as well as relief personnel engaged in flood recovery efforts.
An SPC Group official stated, “We decided to deliver relief supplies to help the evacuees who are facing difficulties due to the record-breaking heavy rain overnight,” and added, “SPC Group will continue to actively support areas in need.”

Meanwhile, SPC Group actively provides relief supplies in the event of disasters in accordance with Chairman Hur Young-in’s philosophy of sharing and coexistence. The group maintains a constant cooperative system with the Korean Red Cross and has delivered emergency relief supplies and supported recovery efforts in areas affected by natural disasters.
