Gwangju Seo-gu Conducts 'Labor Management and Industrial Safety Consulting' for Small Businesses
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Shin Dong-ho] The Nosa-Minjeong Council of Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Chairman Kim Yi-gang) recently announced on the 9th that it conducted one-on-one customized labor environment improvement consulting, where labor consultants directly visited 30 small-scale workplaces.
From May to last month, Seo-gu provided labor management consulting or industrial safety consulting tailored to the needs of participating small-scale workplaces with fewer than 30 employees, and suggested improvement methods and measures through individual in-depth consultations.
The labor management consulting included ▲preparation of employment contracts and payroll ledgers ▲methods of personnel and accounting processing ▲working and break hours ▲holiday operations, providing labor management plans to improve the labor environment.
The industrial safety consulting introduced ▲the Serious Accidents Punishment Act ▲the Industrial Safety and Health Act, and suggested directions for improvement in safety and health to prevent industrial accidents, receiving great response from business owners and concluding successfully.
A Seo-gu official said, “We hope this will help improve the labor environment and prevent industrial accidents in small-scale workplaces struggling due to COVID-19,” and added, “We will do our best to create a safe and healthy workplace together with local labor and management.”
