KT Releases Corporate Advertisement Showcasing 30 Years of Social Contribution... Narrated by Park Eun-bin

[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT announced on the 7th that it has released a new corporate advertisement that weaves together 30 years of social contribution activities, including the 'IT Supporters.'
The company introduced that this advertisement embodies KT's commitment to practicing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) management in order to bridge the digital divide and realize a better life for the public.
Since introducing PC communication in 1993, KT has been improving the digital environment in remote areas and providing IT education for students and smartphone usage education for seniors, starting with informatization education for vulnerable groups. The 'IT Supporters,' officially launched in 2007, have provided a total of 340,000 IT education sessions over 15 years alongside the rapid spread of high-speed internet, benefiting a cumulative total of 3.7 million people.
KT's social contribution organization composed of employees, the 'Love Volunteer Group,' has been practicing sharing activities by seeking out places in local communities in need since 2001. After COVID-19, they implemented the 'Online Night School' to address educational disparities among youth, and recently created the youth digital talent development program 'Able School' to help enhance young people's employment competitiveness.
Actress Park Eun-bin, who is gaining popularity through the ENA drama 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' produced by KT Studio Genie, narrated the advertisement. The ad also features Kim So-hyang, a real beneficiary of the Online Night School from Imjado, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, and Choi Seung-hoon, a new employee who succeeded in getting a job as KT's AI developer through Able School.
