Siwoo Kim "Korean Tour Return After 6 Years"… 'September Shinhan Donghae Open Participation'
[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] Kim Si-woo (27, photo), who is active on the U.S. Professional Golf (PGA) Tour, will participate in the Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Korean Tour for the first time in six years.
Kim Si-woo's management company Play&Works announced on the 5th, "Kim Si-woo will participate as an invited player in the 38th Shinhan Donghae Open, held for four days from the 8th of next month at Koma Golf Course in Nara Prefecture, Japan." It has been about six years since Kim Si-woo last participated in a KPGA Korean Tour event, which was the Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance Choi Kyung-ju Invitational in October 2016. At that time, Kim Si-woo finished tied for 2nd place. He also played once in the Shinhan Donghae Open as an amateur in 2010, finishing tied for 6th place.

Kim Si-woo is a player who has won three times on the PGA Tour. He is currently ranked 58th in the world. Kim Si-woo said, "I am very happy to greet my home country fans on the Korean Tour after a long time," and added, "I will do my best to show good play at the Shinhan Donghae Open, the best tournament in Asia." The Shinhan Donghae Open is jointly hosted by the Korean Tour, the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO), and the Asian Tour.
