Professor Won Hyeong-jin of Dongmyeong University Publishes Paper in International SCI Journal
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Doo-yeol] Professor Won Hyeong-jin of the Do-ing Department at Dongmyung University, a technical committee member of the Asian Taekwondo Union, has revealed that the functional reaction time in a simulated blocking test for Taekwondo athletes with neurological disabilities is more disadvantageous compared to athletes with amputations or deformities.
Professor Won published a paper titled “Functional Reaction Times of a Simulated Blocking Test among Para Taekwondo Athletes” in the SCI international journal MDPI Healthcare on July 1st.
Professor Won said, “It is an honor that the efforts made so far for the development of Para Taekwondo have been published in a world-class academic journal, and with this publication, I will continue research related to Taekwondo.”

Professor Won also contributes to the local community by donating his talents as the Taekwondo director of the Angel Peace Arts Group, supporting Taekwondo performances by youth trainees in Busan, and contributing to events such as the 2030 Busan World Expo bid concert.
