View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The Korea Manhwa Museum announced on the 4th that it will hold the ‘Manhwa Museum Cosplay Day’ as part of the regional culture and arts platform development project.
The event will take place on the 6th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the lobby of the Korea Manhwa Museum. There will be a photo zone where visitors can experience costumes with character outfits and props, as well as a tattoo sticker experience zone. From 3 p.m., a performance by cosplay club members will be held in the Manhwa Museum screening room, followed by a networking event for cosplayers.
In particular, the performance starting at 3 p.m. in the Manhwa Museum screening room will feature teams such as Realcos Team and Vladistage Team. On the second floor of the museum, separate changing rooms and lounges for male and female cosplayers will be operated to support their convenience.
Lee Yongcheol, team leader of the Manhwa Museum, said, “Manhwa Museum Cosplay DAY has been prepared as a place to spread the cosplay experience to general visitors.” He added, “We hope this event will be a unique opportunity for many visitors coming to the Manhwa Museum during the vacation to experience costume culture that recreates characters from manhwa, animation, and games through participation programs such as the photo zone and experience zone.”
