[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Lee Sang-hoon, former Director of Women, Family, and Children Affairs of Gyeongnam Province, will be inaugurated as the 25th Vice Mayor of Sacheon City on the 4th.
The Vice Mayor said, "I consider it an immense honor to work as a member of Sacheon City, the city of sky and sea, and the Republic of Korea's Aerospace Special City," adding, "I sincerely thank Mayor Park Dong-sik and the citizens of Sacheon for entrusting me with the heavy responsibility of Vice Mayor. I will devote all my efforts to building a happy city, Sacheon."
He continued, "I will do my best to support public officials in increasing autonomy and creativity in their work by fostering a workplace that is enjoyable and motivating, and an organizational culture full of dreams and hope, creating an atmosphere where they can work confidently and freely."
On the 4th, the Vice Mayor will pay respects at the Sacheon National Cemetery's Memorial Tower and then receive his appointment certificate from Mayor Park Dong-sik before officially starting his duties.

Vice Mayor Lee is originally from Goseong, Gyeongnam, graduated from Changwon High School and Sungkyunkwan University with a degree in Economics, and earned a master's degree in Public Administration from Ohio State University in the United States.
