Asan Nanum Foundation Announces Recruitment for Startups to Join Entrepreneurship Platform 'Maru'
Benefits Tailored to Tenant Growth Beyond Office Space and Auxiliary Facility Use
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Asan Nanum Foundation (Chairman Jang Seok-hwan) announced on the 3rd that it is recruiting startups to join the entrepreneurship platform 'Maru'.
Maru is located on Yeoksam-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and provides comprehensive solutions including infrastructure, networks, and education necessary for startups at Maru360, which opened in November last year following 'Maru180' that opened in April 2014.
Startups selected through this recruitment will move into Maru180 and Maru360 in October and receive various benefits including office space for up to one year. All office furniture necessary for work will be provided, and the cost is limited to the minimum actual expenses required for facility management.
All auxiliary facilities such as meeting rooms, lounges, showers, and sleeping rooms within Maru180 and Maru360 can be freely used by resident startups. Additionally, through the 'Maru Benefit' program, which offers benefits worth 180 million KRW per team annually, startups can access solutions needed for recruitment, legal affairs, translation, and more. They can also enjoy the 'Maru Connect' benefit, which provides one-on-one mentoring from industry experts and senior entrepreneurs in a total of 22 fields.

The recruitment target is companies established within 5 years with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 12 employees. Kim Arang, Head of Business Division at Asan Nanum Foundation, said, "Since the opening of Maru180 in 2014, Asan Nanum Foundation has dreamed and practiced the challenge, growth, and sharing of the startup ecosystem," adding, "Through Maru360, we will further expand entrepreneurship throughout the ecosystem and support resident startups to grow bigger through various programs."
