Ulsan City and Homeplus Sign Win-Win Business Agreement
Expanding Promotion and Sales Channels for Local Specialties and Quality Products
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] More than 600 social economy enterprises in the Ulsan area have secured a path to enter the Homeplus online mall. This is expected to expand the sales channels for local social economy enterprises struggling with product sales due to the economic downturn.
On the 3rd at 11 a.m., Ulsan City and Homeplus will hold a "Win-Win Agreement Ceremony for Expanding Sales Channels of Social Economy Enterprises" in the situation room on the 7th floor of the main building of the city hall. The ceremony will be attended by An Seung-dae, Director of Planning and Coordination Office of Ulsan City, Shin Geon-ho, Executive Director of Homeplus, and Moon Heung-seok, Chairman of the Ulsan Social Economy Support Center.
Through this business agreement, Ulsan City will support the discovery of products to be listed on the online mall and content production through the Ulsan Social Economy Support Center. Homeplus will list and support the sales of products from Ulsan social economy enterprises on its own online shopping mall.
In addition, Homeplus plans to enhance product competitiveness through product planning, consulting, and marketing.
An Seung-dae, Director of Planning and Coordination Office, said, "The most difficult part for social economy enterprises is developing sales channels and promotion/marketing," and added, "We plan to discover and support various distribution channels so that sales channels can expand nationwide beyond regional limitations."
Shin Geon-ho, Executive Director of Homeplus, said, "We will support the sale and promotion of social economy enterprise products produced in Ulsan on the online shopping mall and cooperate with Ulsan City to contribute to regional development."
