The county announced on the 2nd that the public parking lot built in the Gyeongsan-ri area will be opened free of charge to local residents starting from the 3rd.
This public parking lot was selected in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's public project in 2019, and full-scale construction began in June 2021.
The parking-only building, with a total project cost of 6.4 billion KRW, consists of 3 floors and 4 levels, accommodating 231 parking spaces, and was built to resolve the chronic parking shortage around the county office and its vicinity.
The public parking lot will be operated on a trial basis until the second half of this year to facilitate the use of the parking building and to alleviate the inconvenience of local residents.
