Namcheol Lee, Goryeong County Governor, is visiting Gyeongbuk Province on the 2nd to explain Goryeong County's current projects and budget support.

The county governor proposed the expansion project of the connecting road between Dasan and Donggoryeong Industrial Complex (Local Road No. 905) and the lifting of the re-flood restriction zone in the Gwakchon district of Dasan-myeon as key issues for the 8th term of the civilian administration.
To revive the depressed local economy, the county is promoting a bold investment attraction of 1 trillion KRW from 100 companies centered on the industrial complex, aiming to create 3,000 jobs.
Furthermore, based on the establishment of sustainable industrial economic city infrastructure, the county plans to nurture outstanding local youth and maximize synergy effects with Gyeongbuk Province to successfully implement the 5-5-5 project, which targets a population of 50,000, 5,000 new houses, and 5,000 young residents.
