SKT Revamps 'V Coloring'... Unlimited Content with No Change in Fees
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] SK Telecom announced on the 2nd that it will revamp its visible coloring service ‘V Coloring’. The key point is to keep the fees unchanged while allowing unlimited use of content.
With this service improvement, customers can use previously paid content for free, significantly reducing their usage burden. ‘V Coloring’ is a video coloring subscription service that shows a pre-set video to the caller’s (originator’s) mobile phone until the call is connected to the recipient. It allows users to show various provided videos or their own videos to the caller.
Since its launch in September 2020, about 12,000 diverse short-form videos have been offered, ranging from idols, animations, celebrities, popular characters, to natural scenery.
SKT expects that with the removal of content-related burdens, customers will utilize the feature to set different video colorings by caller or time zone.
Additionally, the newly added auto-setting feature, which automatically changes content, is anticipated to help customers freely enjoy video content that suits their preferences.
Furthermore, by using V Coloring, customers can use the voice coloring service for free along with the video coloring service. The fees remain the same as before.
