The River Division of Changwon City is implementing the 'River Disaster Risk Area Improvement Project' in the areas of Towolcheon in Seongsan-gu and Naedongcheon in Uichang-gu, with a total project budget of 500 million KRW.
This project aims to minimize damage from typhoons and heavy rainfalls by carrying out riverbed dredging V=4516㎡, placing riprap A=1058㎡, and installing flood defense walls L=293m, ensuring thorough project execution for disaster prevention.
