[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] Yoon Hee-geun, the nominee for Commissioner of the National Police Agency, has been fined for violating traffic regulations a total of eight times from 2016 to recently.
According to the 'Status of Payment and Delinquency of Traffic Fines and Various Penalties' data submitted by the National Police Agency to Rep. Cheon Jun-ho of the Democratic Party of Korea on the 30th, Yoon was fined eight times for illegal parking and speeding violations from March 2016 to October last year.
There were three cases of illegal parking and five cases of speeding violations under 20 km/h.
