View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Employees of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund conducted group blood donations and donated goods to support local vulnerable groups struggling due to the resurgence of COVID-19.
The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund announced on the 29th that it held such a donation relay event. Specifically, with the voluntary participation of employees the previous day, 1,245 reusable items such as used clothes, shoes, and miscellaneous goods collected over about two weeks were donated to the 'Goodwill Store' operated by the Milal Welfare Foundation.
On the 20th, a group blood donation was held at the Daegu headquarters, and blood donation certificates were collected from employees and delivered to the Daegu-Gyeongbuk branch of the Korea Leukemia Pediatric Cancer Association. This was intended to help alleviate the blood supply shortage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, activities such as 'donating lunch boxes to prevent hunger' and 'supporting local children's education and protecting the local environment together with university volunteer groups' have been carried out.
